Foundever is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level support to our customers and partners. This is a very dynamic role where you will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot, and resolve customer problems, interface with engineering on various product issues, and contribute to projects revolving around support tools, knowledge management, our growing marketplace of solutions, and more.
Location: WAH
Pay: $20/ Hour, plus a $100 a day incentive on the days where you are on call
While working on the campaign, associates will get the opportunity to complete the following Splunk certifications:
· Power User Certification
· Admin Certification
· Cloud Admin Certification
· Architect Certification
Responsibilities:
· Provide Technical Support for enterprise customers
· Develop a deep understanding of the client’s product
· Troubleshoot technical issues to establish the root cause of problems and form a solution or workaround across a range of environments
· Provide documentation content and participate in online forum support for real-time questions from our client’s users.
· Reproduce customer issues and if necessary, file bug reports, escalate cases to engineering, and provide the necessary documentation
Requirements:
- Experience with the following systems is a must: UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX), Windows, and Mac OS X
- Understanding of regular expressions (Regex) and Python scripting, solid knowledge of networking concepts
- Knowledge in the following areas is a plus: Perl and shell scripting, XML, HTML and Business Intelligence
- Highly developed, process-oriented skills for troubleshooting and the ability to isolate problems between hardware and software and provide information to the appropriate development team(s)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced technical environment and support a product with frequent product releases and regular maintenance updates
Home Office Requirements:
· Hardwired internet connection (no satellite or wireless) ( 5MBPS Up/Down )
· A Working Phone Line (Home Phone or Mobile)
· Home office must be noise/distraction free environment
· Desk and Ergonomic chair
· Headset (earbuds, USB headset are acceptable for this program)
