Location: Midland, TX
Description:
The Technical Solutions Field Tech may travel up to 65% to provide on-site support to the hydrocarbon industry, specifically the natural gas and natural gas processing markets.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Install, calibrate, and perform start-up services for analyzers, meters, flow computers, and chromatographs.
- Provide regular, scheduled maintenance for measurement and analytical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair measurement and analytical equipment (chromatographs, analyzers, meters, flow computers, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Understanding of natural gas processing as it relates to analytical measurement.
- Working knowledge and understanding of sample conditioning, measurement instrumentation, analyzers, metering, and analytical equipment. Gas chromatograph knowledge is a plus.
- Effective problem-solving skills, the ability to work alone and perform root-cause failure analysis.
- HS diploma or GED and 2 years of work experience with instrumentation, measurement, or analytical equipment; preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License free of unlawful traffic violations.
Certifications / License:
- Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License free of unlawful traffic violations.
- ISA Certified Control Systems Technician, a plus.
- TWIC card preferred.
