Part-time (20 hours/week)
Duties: Process new titles, primarily AV formats such as DVDs, CDs, Blu-rays, kits, etc. Repair damaged items and make physical changes when necessary. Check in serials issues. Track processing supplies and submit order requests when they run low. Record number of items added to collections.
Requires: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to read and follow directions and perform detail-oriented work with accuracy and neatness. Ability to move library carts and carry library materials up to 25 pounds. Ability to manipulate small items and apply labels repeatedly.
Schedule: 20 hours/week, within weekday daytime hours. This position will work a set schedule based on the incoming employee's availability.
Salary: $17.25+, depending on qualifications. IMRF pension participation. Paid vacation and sick leave.
