REMOTE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (Technical Sales - Hunter)
Remote Sales Opportunity for candidates in South Florida, Orlando, FL, the Tampa Bay area of Florida, Houston, TX, or Denver, CO

Do you enjoy working 100% Remote and have a skillset in selling technology? ARC Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative / Technical Sales Rep for a 50-year technology company. This position is remote, enabling you to work comfortably at the home but client visits are expected when needed. The Business Development Representative will be an experienced Technical Salesperson (hunter) in the IT space to generate and grow revenue. Yes, this role is remote but we are looking for candidates in for candidates in South Florida, Orlando, FL, the Tampa Bay area of Florida, Houston, TX, or Denver, CO.

Under the direction of the Sales Leader, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for the refinement and execution of the sales plan within their assigned accounts (enterprise accounts, resellers, and distributors). The Business Development Representative will build, maintain and grow a sales presence within the targeted accounts and represent the company’s value proposition to key executives, stakeholders, and customers alike. The Business Development Representative will also demonstrate an understanding of how to sell memory and storage (IT Component) solutions and an understanding of key players in the IT Component and server ecosystem.
Responsibilities General
  • Build, maintain and leverage a broad network among sales and partners supporting your targeted accounts ‘ecosystem.
  • Manage sales campaigns and sales cycle - successfully executing an analytical and consultative sales process from prospecting to close.
Profitability
  • Achieve Revenue (and other) targets for the territory.
  • Achieve new account acquisition targets for the specified industry, segment, distribution channel, and/or territory.
Lead Generation
  • Populate and qualify prospect lists of companies to pursue new business development.
  • Develop prospecting plans including objectives, target contacts, and action plans for hot leads.
  • Perform cold calling, attend events and build professional networks to initiate contact with new prospects.
  • Engage in and support before, during, and after all marketing activities related to lead generation.
Account Acquisition
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 substantive client or prospect sales calls a week to uncover the problems and needs of the client or prospect.
  • Develop Call Plans for each substantive sales call; share them with team members.
  • Write quotes that address the needs of clients or prospects and align with finance and legal on pricing and contracting policy.
  • Manage client negotiations and handle objections.
Salesforce and Pipeline Monitoring
  • Grow, develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce to support the ongoing growth of the sales assignments.
  • Follow the trends, issues, and changes in the industry segment to identify new demand for products and sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and communicate competitor activity to Marketing and Management.
Qualifications / Background Profile Successful candidates for this position will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 4 or more years of experience in sales and new account acquisition with gross revenue and profit responsibility.
  • Proven track record/experience in selling complex, high-value technical products (i.e. an IT Component to multiple stakeholders utilizing SMEs).
  • Understanding of reseller/partner programs and how to leverage and develop relationships.
  • Understanding of infrastructure server and storage technologies; ability to discuss with partners.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Direct B2B solution/consultative selling experience.
  • Strong, disciplined approach to sales pipeline development.
  • Experience selling within Finance, Energy Services, Aerospace and Defense, Medical, or System Integration industries preferred.
  • Sales experience with OEM IT Components preferred (e.g., Apacer, Crucial, Kingston, Kioxia, Micron, Samsung, SK Hynix).
  • Understanding of IT Component (storage and memory) and server competitive landscapes.
  • Ability to work remotely and effectively collaborate with a geographically distributed team.
