The McCloud Group (TMG) is a Construction Management (CM) firm founded in 2002, specializing in the construction and renovation of K-12 educational, college university, municipal, cultural, residential, and healthcare construction projects for public sector governmental agencies. Summary
TMG is looking for a Recruiter for its Corporate Office in Jersey City, NJ. This position will work alongside the Construction teams in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, candidates, and The McCloud Group Executive staff. You will manage, develop and execute methods of identifying, sourcing, assessing, and attracting top talent for the organization. The McCloud Group hires permanent employees from entry level through the executive level.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for full cycle internal recruitment including creating and posting job requisitions, screening resumes, conducting phone and in-person interviews, checking references, negotiating salaries, and developing relationships with current McCloud Group staff.
- Partner with the hiring managers to understand our business plans, workforce planning strategies, and staffing needs to provide quality candidates and top-notch customer service.
- Implement targeted sourcing and marketing techniques to identify relevant candidate pools including but not limited to writing job advertisements, attending candidate networking events, and utilizing databases, social media, and other online search platforms.
- Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source and develop a pipeline of active and passive job seekers.
- Contribute to weekly recruiting update to keep our office team current on status of open jobs, candidate follow up, etc.
- Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and recruitment process efficiency.
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Construction Related Industry or Human Resources.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of high-volume recruitment in a technical environment; preferably in the permanent sector.
- Experience in the A/E, Engineering, or Construction related industry recruiting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must be proactive and be able to multi-task a high volume of positions, candidates, and requisitions.
- Ability to form strong relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization.
