- Join a dynamic team working on one of Vanguard's and IIG's top transformational initiatives! Serve as a critical leader in driving an integrated, full-service modernization effort specifically focused on Participant Experience and our Institutional clients. This Full Service IIG transformation is the most significant and largest effort ever undertaken by Vanguard. This role is high impact and high exposure. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management skills, the ability to influence and direct others and an owner's mindset. Excellent communication skills will be key. A strategic thought leader with an ability to dig into the details and assist in operationalizing a complex technical ecosystem. The individual in this role will directly partner across the Vanguard enterprise (GTO, CTO, ES&F, SI and the IIG Business) as well as with key functions across vendor organizations, collaborating and serving in a consultative role. This role will be critical in the end-to-end delivery of our new and modernized Participant Experience for our IIG Business and Institutional participants.
Qualifications
- Manages technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
- Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
- Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.
- Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related issues on technology projects. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.
