Akamai's CTG (Cloud Technology Group) develops and operates multiple services deployed on the cloud. These services collect, process, and store data about every transaction that is executed on Akamai's Edge. Develop and maintain Akamai's industry-leading products that are an integral part of a globally distributed network that deliver content for major customers and events.
Partner with the best
As a Technical Program Manager II, you'll work with our Cloud Technology Group by closely aligning goals with Engineering leadership and their teams. You will plan, communicate, execute, and deliver major programs, products, and solutions. Your projects will deploy on Akamai's Global Network for top media and entertainment company sites in the world.
As a Program Manager II Technical, you will be responsible for:
- Managing complex Technical Programs that require collaboration among multiple, cross-functional groups
- Collaborating with cross-functional groups to understand requirements, schedules, and program risks
- Documenting track, and communicate program, project status, actions, required decisions, and risk areas
- Identifying areas for process improvement, architecting and proposing solutions and implementing the change management required
- Developing successful partnerships with engineering and program stakeholders across the organization
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, another related field or its equivalent
- Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills needed to work across global constituencies across multiple time zones
- Have Program Management experience with multiple process methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Waterfall, Traditional PMI methods, etc (certifications welcome but not required).

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $102,973 - $154,614/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
