Form of workRapid Solutions (RS) is looking for an experienced AS9100D-certified Quality Manager to spearhead our Performance Excellence team as we grow our space and aerospace programs. RS is a full-service engineering and manufacturing team that supports the design and integration of sensor systems on various platforms including aircraft, spacecraft, UAV, ISR Pods, shipboard, aerospace and others. Our facilities have complete manufacturing and testing capabilities, providing the quality manager the opportunity to be part of the manufacturing and test process from prototype to production. The successful candidate must be an inspiring leader that is capable of owning and improving our AS9100D-certified Business Management System and drive our quality program to achieve consistent, exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality and Performance Excellence function for a newly-certified Jacobs office.
- Manage the internal audit, corrective action, document management, and related functions for the organization as a key manager.
- Manage an internal audit and corrective action program, according to AS9100 requirements, geared to find and correct system issues. Engineer processes and train personnel in their use.

- Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent experience (required).
- Proactive, problem-solving skills, strong communication and training skills.
- Familiar with AS9100 and FAA PMA QMS processes and auditing.
- Able to tailor QMS processes and level of effort based on customer requirements.
- Ability to generate process travelers.
- Familiar with Configuration Management Systems, preferably EPDM, and able to control documentation from technical disciplines (e.g., Engineering).
- Familiar with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Asset Management including managing databases.
- Familiar with Product Lifecycle Management databases.
Preferred:
- Secret clearance.
- AS9100D Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
