As the Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of engineers and developers, providing them with technical direction and guidance for various projects. This role is Your expertise will be instrumental in overseeing technical project plans and timelines, ensuring successful project completion within budget and on time, and assuring customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple departments, including Project Management, Sales and customer support, as well as disciplines like Automation and Process Control, Manufacturing Intelligence, and IT4OT. Your ability to foster effective communication and seamless execution will be essential in meeting technical requirements and ensuring overall project success.

What you will do:·
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and developers, providing technical direction and guidance for assigned projects.
- Oversee technical project plans and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with all departments, including Project Management, Sales and customer support, as well as disciplines such as Automation and Process Control, Manufacturing Intelligence, and IT4OT, to ensure seamless execution and adherence to technical requirements.
· Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure high-quality standards are met. · Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance development capabilities.
· Analyze customer requirements and collaborate to develop technical solutions that meet customer needs. · Develop and document technical processes, procedures and best practices.
· Drive quality throughout the entire process from estimating to requirements, design, development, testing and commissioning. · Assist in training new employees and review the performance of the high-performing team.
- Coordinate with the software development team to address technical debt and ongoing operations.
- Schedule training sessions for new employees and the technical staff.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and coordinate with the various Technical Leads from each discipline – A&C, MI and IT4OT.
- Promote the use of high-quality documentation and code practices to prevent financial losses and implement best practices and coding standards.
- Understand project requirements and develop detailed project structures.
- Working closely with the Project Manager, ensure on time on budget delivery of projects.
- Working with Sales and Project Management, drive project estimates to support sales and delivery.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to deliver clear decisions.
- Comfortable regularly presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development and Technical Leadership.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and techniques.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong multitasking and task prioritization abilities.
- A certification in Project Management Professional is desirable.
- Highly motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and good organizational skills.
- Excellent technical expertise, including knowledge of PLC and SCADA platforms such as Rockwell’s and programming languages like SQL and Python.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools and databases.
- Awareness of the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
- Highly accurate and logical in problem-solving.
