Fabletics is looking for a Patternmaker & Technical Designer- Mens.

As the Patternmaker & Technical Designerfor Men's, you will be responsible for ensuring overall quality, efficiency, technical knowledge, and brand consistency for assigned styles and/or categories. This cross-functional role is critical in acting as a liaison between teams, ensuring successful development and elevation of our brand. You will lead fittings and collaborate with Designers and vendor partners to create brand-right fits that align with our product standards.
You will report to the Senior Technical Designer - Mens, and partner closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and Merchandising teams.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $74,100 - $90,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.

This cross-functional role is critical in acting as a liaison between teams, ensuring successful development and elevation of our brand. You will lead fittings and collaborate with Designers and vendor partners to create brand-right fits that align with our product standards.
You will report to the Senior Technical Designer - Mens, and partner closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and Merchandising teams.
What you will do:
- Develop accurate first proto patterns based on sketches from the design partners.
- Support maintaining brand specific Block Library for fit consistency and standards.
- Must know how to make Gerber generated pattern cards in Excel.
- Participate in product review meetings and other presentations as necessary.
- Work directly with Technical Design, Sample room, Design, Product Development and Production teams.
- Ability to lead fittings, take detailed and accurate notes, and clearly communicate pattern corrections/style comments with vendors.
- Troubleshoot potential production issues before samples are made, for both aesthetic, construction & cost purposes.
- Maintain all standards regarding grading, construction, how-to-measure, and fit consistency.
- Create markers for costing review.
- Create graded nest for graphics team/placements.
- Identify and alert design and production teams of potential production, quality and costing issues and make recommendations to ensure brand integrity is maintained.
- Prep and analyze garments to determine compliance of comments, specs, constructions, and sketches.
What you can bring:
- 3-4 years working Pattern Making and Technical Design experiance.
- BA or AA Degree; technical Pattern Making required.
- Working experience with CAD Pattern software, Gerber is preferred.
- Must know how to digitize and create zip and dxf files.
- Strong ability to create and apply grading to Gerber patterns.
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Knowledge of PLM, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite and Gerber and/or 3D apparel creation software is a plus.
- Exceptional knowledge of garment construction, balance and fit.
- Problem solver, strategic, team player, time management skills.
