Job Summary:

We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player. To be a qualifying fit for our team, candidate must have:

• A great understanding of garment construction from point of measurement and specifications for tops, bottoms, dresses, sweaters, suiting and outerwear. Must be able to create technical packages including specs, trims, sample requests, fittings, corrections, pre-production, and TOP production approvals.
• Experience in both men’s and women’s
• Extensive Knowledge and Ability to spec both knit and woven garments.
• Follow through and full understanding on all aspects of technical design from concept and illustrator sketches.
• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Strong sense of urgency and successful track record in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented and time management
• Verbal and written communication skills are crucial with the ability to communicate easily with overseas vendors.

Qualifications:

Education: Technical Design degree (but not required) or equivalent preferred Experience: 3-5 years Technical Design experience.
