• This position is part of the Operations Support group within the C&IS department and is responsible for
• completing all necessary tasks in support of the calibration of M&T. This position requires excellent
• communication and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a dynamic setting
• with varying workload and type. Responsibilities include maintaining data across multiple software systems;
• scheduling calibration services for internal and external customers; reviewing customer requirements and
• entering information into asset management systems; customer issue resolution; inventory management of
• M&TE, participation in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Duties and Responsibilities
• Instating and staging instruments for calibration; review purchase orders and work with customer to resolve issues; work order closeout; delivery.
• Inventory management and purchasing of consumables.
• Coordinate and schedule calibration and pickup/delivery activities.
• Procurements of subcontracted services, parts, and materials.
• This position will be located at the Jackson Trail Street Lab in Jackson, Michigan.

Hours and Travel

• Meet travel requirements of the position.
• Work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of applicable experience.
• Proficiency with computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and database systems.

Education:

• High School Diploma / GED.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field with less than 1 year of experience.

(OR) An Associate degree in a scientific/technical field with 4 or more years of experience in the specific field.
(OR) equivalent Company or industry experience in positions that demonstrate required abilities and performance.
