Position is located in West Sacramento.
Under the general direction of the Business Taxes Administrator III (BTA III) of the Investigations Section (IS), incumbent performs duties of a highly technical nature and act as a Technical Advisor to the BTA III. The Business Taxes Specialist II plans, organizes, and directs large and complex projects, acts independently to research legal, audit, and complex compliance problems and issues; attends meetings that address legislative or regulatory content; prepares and maintains complex reports and coordinates clearances; provides advisory services to the BTA III and Executive Management; and attends meetings on behalf of the BTA III as needed.
Under Government Code 14200, this position may be eligible for full or part-time telework for eligible candidates residing in California.

Working Conditions
