Job Description

Responsible for all facets of providing centralized Customer support concerning all Medical Systems Group electronic video personal computes and network products to OAI customers Sales Representatives Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and other related departments. Function as a MICROSOFT Windows administrator. Provide technical assistance to Product Managers and make suggestions for future product development on the Image Manager 7.x product.

    Job Duties
    • Answer inbound customer calls make outbound calls as necessary. 
    • Investigate and resolve issues problems concerning all Medical software products and update incident tickets and enter information in department database to permit generation of accurate reports regarding frequency of incidents and costs of repairs. 
    • Provide 24 7 technical support on a rotating basis as required. 
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot the entire range of company electronic, video, and computer related products. 
    • Provide positive recommendations and solutions by understanding the needs of the customer and offer the best fit. 
    • Develop technical expertise to be able to provide First Call Resolution on as many customer issues as possible. 
    • Establish & maintain partnerships with all FSE Sales Representatives and Management to support defined business requirements and drive customer satisfaction. 
    • Maintain the test equipment rack make necessary repairs or replace test equipment to replicate customer conditions. 
    • Perform in-house and remote repairs on customer databases, Computer hardware upgrading and support. 
    • Establish & maintain partnerships with all FSE Sales Representatives and Management to support defined business requirements. 
    • Responsible for the collection and entry of incident tickets. 
       
    Job Qualifications

    Required:

    • Minimum of an Associate s Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Technology or equivalent knowledge
    • Other Microsoft Certifications required and Novel Certifications preferred.
    • Extensive user experience and solid working knowledge of personal computers and LAN concepts.
    • Extensive user experience with personal computers. Working knowledge of popular software packages such as MICROSOFT Office etc.
    • Work flexible hours as required.
    • Professionalism: In addition to the above qualifications the candidate must agree to: Cooperate and participate as an effective team member in creating a positive working environment. Demonstrate positive OAI corporate citizenship. Ensure professional and timely communication with customers and sales reps in accordance with established Customer Service protocols. Recognize and adhere to established company and department policies and protocol including but not limited to: Appropriate dress. Appropriate behavior. Work station. Electronic communication. FTO policy. Receptive to positive and constructive feedback as provided by OAI Management. Strong communication skills both written and verbal

     

    Preferred:

    • Minimum two years experience as a Technical Support Engineer Level I preferred or business related experience. A+ certification preferred. 
    • Experience in telephone support preferred.
    • Network + preferred. MCP preferred.
    • Knowledge of electronic and video systems preferred.
    • Knowledge of medical instrumentation hospital equipment systems preferred.
