Job Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and requests via phone, email, or in person

- Provide product information and recommendations to customers

- Process service requests, renewals, and rewrites accurately and efficiently

- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner

- Maintain customer interaction records and update information as needed

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction

- Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer interactions

Qualifications:

- Licensed for P&C Insurance in the state of California (active license)

- Previous customer service experience in the insurance industry is preferred

- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) is preferred

- Strong conflict resolution and deescalation skills, including the ability to stay calm when dealing with client concerns

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism

- Knowledge of SalesForce/Apex or Farmers Insurance Agency experience is a plus

- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and an organized work area

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
