Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an APP for their neurosurgery team's consult service at southern Ohio Hospital, the area's only level 1 trauma center. Although experience in neurocritical care, neurosurgery, or neurology is preferred, candidates with experience in critical care or emergency medicine will also be considered. Both new-grad and experienced providers are welcome to apply.
    • Full-time; night-shift; inpatient
    • 3 x 13; 6:30pm-7:30am
    • Every 3rd weekend
    • No call.
Coverage Responsibilities:
    • Traumatic, cranial hemorrhages.
    • Spontaneous, intracranial hemorrhages.
    • Ruptured aneurysms.
    • Brain and spine tumors.
    • Functional neurosurgery- Pain pumps, Baclofen pumps, Deep brain stimulation.
    • Fresh, post-op patients.
    • Drains.
    • Assessing neurological changes.
    • New consults.
    • Opportunities for training to perform invasive procedures
