Seeking an APP for their neurosurgery team's consult service at southern Ohio Hospital, the area's only level 1 trauma center. Although experience in neurocritical care, neurosurgery, or neurology is preferred, candidates with experience in critical care or emergency medicine will also be considered. Both new-grad and experienced providers are welcome to apply.
- Full-time; night-shift; inpatient
- 3 x 13; 6:30pm-7:30am
- Every 3rd weekend
- No call.
Coverage Responsibilities:
- Traumatic, cranial hemorrhages.
- Spontaneous, intracranial hemorrhages.
- Ruptured aneurysms.
- Brain and spine tumors.
- Functional neurosurgery- Pain pumps, Baclofen pumps, Deep brain stimulation.
- Fresh, post-op patients.
- Drains.
- Assessing neurological changes.
- New consults.
- Opportunities for training to perform invasive procedures
