Join the OAKBERRY CA team and become a vital part of our renowned açaí company dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking a dynamic Team Member to contribute to our mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle through our delicious smoothies and açaí bowls.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve smoothies and açai bowls according to OAKBERRY CA's Guidelines.
• Greet customers warmly, providing a friendly environment.
• Educate customers on the health benefits of our products and address any inquiries.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as necessary.
• Receive and check orders from vendors.
• Operate the card register.
• Operate the electric, music, light, etc systems - make sure the store set-up is aligned with OAKBERRY CA's Guidelines to provide a great experience to our customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper food and equipment handling.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
• Stay informed about all menu items and ingredients to accommodate customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Uphold the highest quality and presentation standards for food and beverage items.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and utensils to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

Qualification:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Previous experience in customer service or food service (preferred).
• Basic math skills (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
• Passion for healthy eating and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to ensure that all food and beverage items are made to the highest quality and presentation standards.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills.
• Must be comfortable working independently and self-sufficiently.
• Comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods.
• Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Employment Details:

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Salary: $16.90 per hour + Supplemental Pay (Tips)
• Hours: 5 hours per day:

Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Middle Shift: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Closing Shift: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
*Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays*
