Team Leader Job Description

MUST HAVE CAR!!!

Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr

Responsibilities:

● Team leaders are responsible to assign cleaning areas to staff, carry out daily inspections to ensure cleaning operatives are cleaning the premises effectively and ensuring that cleaning operatives follow health and safety procedures.

● Team leaders are responsible for ordering stocks of cleaning materials (if manager is not available ), and researching potential developments in cleaning equipment that could improve the service provided.

● Team leaders are responsible for ensuring that all cleaning operatives are effectively trained and that their workload is manageable.

● Team leaders have overall responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning operation so that the building/houses and the surrounding areas are clean and safe. They are still expected to undertake cleaning tasks within the building/homes but have additional responsibility to supervise the cleaners in their team.

● Team leaders are the front line staff here in Mason Maids ·

● Cleaner team leaders will deliver excellent customer service to both guests, customers and staff

● Team leaders will seek out opportunities to interact with the customers and staff in a positive manner to enhance their experience here in Mason Maids

● Carry out duties as directed by the Cleaning Manager

● React to all requests from the client or management team within the specified time frame

● Notice and report any safety issues that may arise on the clock

● Represent the brand in a positive manner at all times

● Provide weekly inspections reports to the Cleaning Manager

● Monitor/ report staff absence/lateness

Skills and Experience:

· Team leader experience

· Great Customer service

· Excellent communication skills

· Positive disposition

· Experience of working in the cleaning industry

· Experience of working in a customer friendly environment

Terms/Conditions:

● Must have a car

● Must be on time (late after 8:15am)

● 3 unexcused abstinence/tardiness within a month will result in demotion (record starts over every month)

● Must have reliable transportation to drive to job sites everyday

● Must ensure dirty cleaning towels are washed after every house (start the washer in client home at least 30mins before finishing job)

● Must double check crew member work before exiting house (3 unsatisfactory complaints from client in a month due to missed areas will result in demotion-record starts over every month)

Incentives:

*50 raise every 3 months

*Massage OR Nails done once a month

* Paid holidays/birthdays

*BONUS:

$300= 3 months

$600 = 6 months

$1000= one year

(Bonus schedule Renews after 1yr anniversary)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
