Team Leader

If you are a Manufacturing and Operations professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson/Alliance Compressors has an exciting opportunity for you! This role is an exciting opportunity to support the HVACR Americas business. Based in Natchitoches, Louisiana, you will supervise 20-30 employees in our manufacturing processes within the Assembly department, while meeting and/or exceeding goals for production, safety, and quality, with an emphasis on employee relations, housekeeping, and scrap reduction. In addition, you will work with existing policies for consistent application, partnering with management and human resources.

AS A TEAM LEADER, YOU WILL:

• Supervise utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
• Use technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, as applied to such supervision.
• Utilize computer skills to facilitate processes and software used.
• Pursue objectives with organizational skills to meet goals.
• Work with personnel at all levels of the organization.

Schedule

Our business is currently working four 10-hour days with the general working hours of 4:55 AM - 3:30 PM with overtime as needed. For any hours over 40, this position will receive straight-time overtime compensation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Two (2) year associate's Degree plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
• Great computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word)
• Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Four (4) year Bachelor's Degree
• One to three (1-3) years or more of experience in manufacturing with similar responsibilities.
• Experience with KRONOS (timekeeping)

About our Location

Alliance Compressors is a joint venture established by Emerson HVACR, formerly Copeland Corporation (a subsidiary of Emerson). Trane (now part of Ingersoll Rand), and Lennox International. The partnership was formed for the purpose of developing, manufacturing, and marketing one through six-ton compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space. This climate-controlled facility is the third largest manufacturing business in the area and offers 600+ employees many opportunities for advancement.
