The Team Lead, Payroll Tax Services is pivotal in overseeing and managing the seamless execution of Payroll Tax Services. You'll lead a team of specialists responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant handling of Payroll Taxes, fostering excellent client service delivery while achieving and surpassing established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

A day in the life of a Team Lead may vary, but you can always count on:
- Setting a high standard for attendance, attitude, and performance. Motivate the team to consistently deliver their best, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with leadership to establish priorities and set team objectives with Payroll Tax Services KPIs
- Effectively delegate tasks to ensure optimal team productivity and cohesion
- Act as the primary escalation point for customer issues, managing the ticket queue for swift resolutions. Address complex issues and seek management support when necessary. Provide support via the phone queue when required
- Mentor team members, aiding in skill development. Facilitate onboarding, provide training, conduct Quality Assurance checks, and offer constructive feedback to enhance the team's capabilities
If this sounds like you, then you probably have these qualities we’re looking for too. We need someone who has:
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- 2+ years in Payroll Tax Services or related fields, especially with Payroll Tax compliance and administration
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local Payroll Tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service, consistently surpassing expectations
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks while being an independent worker
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Ability to adapt in dynamic environments, being proactive, and taking accountability
- Ability to empathize with customers and collaborate within a team coupled with excellent communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to various systems
- Thrives under pressure, maintaining energy and resilience
- Strong work ethic with acute attention to detail and conflict resolution skills
