Position Summary

Forcura is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead, Mobile Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a talented group of mobile engineers in developing innovative and user-friendly mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile app development, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating high-quality products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and ensure that our mobile applications meet the highest standards of performance, usability, and reliability.

Job Duties

• Lead a team of mobile engineers focused on the maintenance and development of Forcura’s Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to foster their professional growth and development.
• Work across the entire stack to implement solutions, from mobile client-side to API and data layer; to build process, delivery, and version control.
• Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies within the team to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Partner with software leads to validate architecture.
• Collaborate with all teams in the organization, including but not limited to the Technology, Project Management, and Product teams.
• Monitor app performance, understand the needs of users and Forcura clients and, when necessary, successfully deliver software fixes.
• Act as the owner and SME of the Forcura mobile product
• All other job related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a mobile engineer, with expertise in developing native or cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong foundation in object-oriented or functional programming
• Demonstrated mobile UI/UX experience
• Experience with Javascript and React Native cross-platform framework
• Experience with Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch Frameworks
• Experience with Kotlin and Android SDK
• Experience building and supporting highly concurrent mobile applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred
• CI/CD Tools like Bitrise and Fastlane

Work Environment

• This role reports into the Forcura Jacksonville, FL, office.
