The Team Lead role is responsible for the day to day leadership of the Cat Card Core Solutions team within Caterpillar Financial's Information Services team. The team supports the core processing and point of sale systems used to transact $800M to $1B in annual volume from the sale of Caterpillar parts, services, rentals, and warranties.

Role Definition
Leading a team that provides solutions for IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.

Responsibilities
•    Provide consulting services to internal business groups on projects.
•    Oversees a team that analyzes, defines and documents client's requirements, and delivers systems capabilities, as necessary.
•    Monitors the implementation of cybersecurity standards and polices in projects or services.
•    Participate in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements.

•    Ensures the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage.
•    Supervises the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services, including prototyping and use cases.
•    Produces detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation.
•    Trains others on requirements walkthroughs and quality reviews.
•    Utilizes automated diagramming tools to ensure traceability of requirements.

System Testing: Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.
 Level Expert: 
•    Champions the employment of technology to maximize system test throughput and coverage.
•    Builds testing and software QA methodologies and practices for the organization.
•    Advocates appropriate levels of quality by resolution of important defects.
•    Leads the team in testing activities and provides technical guidance on multiple testing projects.
•    Directs the identification, investigation, reporting and follow-up with design teams for all issues raised during the testing process.
•    Solicits and evaluates feedback from business process owners during pilot and parallel testing.
