Job Description:
We are currently seeking exceptional Summer School teachers to join our team. This position is open to English speakers with over three years of teaching experience, who possess a genuine love for children and excel in teaching subjects such as English and Mathematics.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English and Mathematics lessons tailored to the needs and proficiency levels of young learners.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student participation and encourages language development.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to ensure effective comprehension and retention of English language concepts.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional strategies that align with educational goals and standards.
- Able to administer recess related activities, sports and recreation after class periods conclude (optional/preferred).
Qualifications:
- English speaker with a clear and articulate communication style.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience, specifically working with children.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage and motivate students.
- TEFL, TESOL, or other relevant teaching certification preferred.
We are hiring for the following positions:
- English Teachers (2 Positions):
- Work Timeline: June 24th - August 9th (7 Weeks)
- Schedule: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
- Responsibilities: Teach English to children aged [mostly 5-12 and some Middle School/High School], focusing on language acquisition and communication skills.
- Responsibilities: Integrate physical activities and games into English lessons to promote a fun and memorable language learning experience.
