Teacher's Assistant

Teacher’s aides will support the Lead Teacher to help children learn and develop. Teacher’s aides are to instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Teacher’s Aides will receive direct supervision from teachers and the Lead teacher.

Duties:

• Interact with children using positive, supportive, respectful and open-minded attitude, language and tone
• Work with the team to create daily open-ended activities which encourage questioning, problem solving, language, creativity, and concept forming in young children
• Maintain visual and auditory supervision of children at all times to ensure their safety in the classroom, on the playground, and on field trips
• Support children to build critical and creative thinking skills through inquiry, observation and experimentation
• Support children’s social and emotional growth
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months teaching experience with Preschool aged children in the US (compensation based on experience)
• Ability to interact with children, parents, and co-workers in a warm, empathetic, competent, and respectful manner
• Fluent in either English or Mandarin.
• Have at least 3 Early Childhood Education units.
• Annual health exam and immunization Clearance
• Criminal Background and Child Abuse Check Clearance
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination record is required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
