January through mid-April long term sub assignment.
Provide vision services based on students' IEP mandates, complete re-evaluations and evaluations as needed. Work collaboratively with the education team to ensure the students' needs are being addressed. Complete required documentation, attendance, session logs, annual reviews, and session plans Design plans and appropriate activities to reach individual pupil IEPs. Provide assistance to students with regular class assignments. Work cooperatively with regular classroom teachers and staff who have students with disabilities interpreting their abilities, disabilities, and meeting the individual needs of the student Confers frequently with parents, professional staff members, building level social/emotional, psychological, behavioral, and intellectual potential.
Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification preferred; Students with Disabilities Certification or Reading Specialist Certification accepted
