Completed Literacy First, LETRS or IMSE Orton-Gillingham training.Satisfy all district requirements regarding physical health and citizenship.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.Position Goals: To provide intensive remediation in reading to kindergarten, first, second, and third grade students. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Plan a program of study that meets the individual reading needs of the students.
Provide individual and/or small group instruction using specific intervention materials. Monitor progress and maintain tracking documents to show growth. Administer STAR Reading, or Literacy First Assessment at end of the program.Terms of Employment: Jenks Public Schools Temporary Assignment Contract - June 3 - June 27, 2024; Monday-Thursday, 8:30am -12:30pm.
