Crown Staffing is searching for a Teacher's Assistant for a preschool in Fruit Cove, FL. The Teacher's Assistant will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for the children in our care. This is a Monday through Friday
position, hours vary from 6am to 6pm with pay ranging from $15.

About the Teacher's Assistant Role:
As a Teacher's Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Lead teacher in the planning of age-appropriate lesson plans for classroom in the areas of art, sensory, science, math, and literacy
- Comfort children who are struggling with any aspect of their self-regulation ability
- Use the Kangaroo Time app to record meals, toileting, and naps
- Always have a sensory-play option available for children (water, rice, dirt).

Job Requirements
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing written lesson plans
- Assume the role of the classroom teacher in the teacher's absence
- Assist the teacher plan activities
- Perform tasks assigned by the principal, lead teacher or classroom teacher
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences for diagnosed children
- Assist the classroom teacher in other subject areas
- Supervise children during all activities
- Oversee the classroom in the absence of the teacher
- Providing a developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children and/or school age children
- Support the teacher with parent communications
- Provide children with a consistent classroom routine
- Work with teachers/students on special projects/lessons/assignments
- Assist students and parents/learning coaches
- Use assessment data to modify short and long-term plans in order to target areas for improvement
- Provide instructional services to students under the guidance of the classroom teacher
- Work along with the teacher/lead teacher to attain the goals of the program
- Assist the classroom teacher in providing instructional services to students including some that have disabilities
- Assist the teacher in maintaining an environment
- Assume full responsibility in the absence of the classroom teacher
- Accompany classroom teachers on home visits for children with diagnosed disabilities
