At Mis Amigos Preschool, we have a set of core values and principles that guide all our decisions. We believe that it makes us truly unique and unlike working in any other childcare center. Our mission is to “give children the world” but we can’t do that without amazing teachers who are willing to share their language and culture with the children in our school. Our first priority is the children but the well-being of our teachers is nearly as important!

• 100% immersion - We aren’t just a bilingual daycare.

• Reusing resources - We don’t have the newest buildings and equipment because we believe in reusing the resources that we have to prevent waste and promote sustainability for our planet.
• Teacher/Child connections - We offer a bonus for staff who stay until the end of the school year (25-50 cents/hour worked).

Our curriculum is:

• An engaging teaching framework developed by teachers in our school for 20 years.
• Each month we focus on a kid-friendly theme (like Life in the Sea), a color, a celebration and a Spanish-speaking country.
• We have lesson plans for every week for two years that rotate. Every age group has a lesson plan that is appropriate for the age of the classroom. 
• There is flexibility to choose how you implement the plan but you can use it with very little preparation. Teachers are given at least 1 hour a week to work on their plan.

Requerimientos mínimos:

Proporcionar supervisión e interacción continua con los niños a diario en un centro de cuidado infantil de inmersión en español en cooperación con otro maestro y bajo la supervisión del director.

1. Debe tener documentación para trabajar legalmente en los Estados Unidos.
2. Habla hispana nativa o casi nativa.
3. ¡Tenga una actitud positiva hacia el trabajo con niños pequeños y compañeros de equipo!
