Job Summary and Qualifications
Have you always dreamed of working in critical care Transitional Care Unit? Are you a current RN with at least 1 year of acute care experience? The TCU/PCU Plus program is for you! Regional Medical Center has a unique opportunity and would love for you to apply.
There will be cohort starting on the following date:
- June 3, 2024
What qualifications you will need:
- ACLS Required
- BLS Required
- Current RN License by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California
- Minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience required
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Candidates with 24 months, or more, of acute care experience are preferred.
For internal candidates only:
- 6 months in current position
- No write ups in the last 6 months
- Minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience required

Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital. The hospital provides a host of technologically advanced services including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Bariatric and General Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology and services for Women. Regional holds Joint Commission advanced certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Get with the Guidelines- Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
