Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred)
Job Type: Part-time (Approximately 5 weeks)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for accurate filings.
- Utilize Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax software to streamline the tax preparation processes.
- Provide guidance on tax-related questions and concerns.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed for tax purposes.
- Conduct reviews to identify potential areas for improvement and ensure compliance with best practices in tax preparation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in tax preparation.
- Proficiency in Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax software.
- Degree in Accounting or significant professional experience with Enrolled Agent designation.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs.
