Major responsibilities
- Correspond with clients to gather important information/documents
- Manually enter correct data into Tax software application
- Sum up and invoice for form preparation fees
- Systematize transaction tax returns manually utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
- Complete other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
- Take care of clients with incoming calls to facilitate tax questions and set appointments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Spreadsheet and database capabilities
- Experience with high volume data entry
- 2+ years preparing tax returns- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Payroll tax experience
- Well-founded grasp of financial statement preparation
- Proven knowledge of Quickbooks Online
- Strong familiarity with Payroll Tax Reporting
- Knowledge of Payroll Tax Deposits
- Experience with QuickBooks
