Tax Specialist

Workforce Solutions partners directly with leading small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are currently working with a CPA firm in Hartford, WI seeking tax talent to join them for the 2024 tax season.

What's the role?

Tax Specialists are a key part of the team responsible for managing client relationships while ensuring final annual tax products for individuals and business are produced and delivered to client within expected timelines. This includes:

• Preparing tax records and reports for individual and/or business tax clients.
• Assisting clients with IRS correspondence when appropriate.
• Preparing 1099's and other year-end work.
• Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.

What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

• Experience completing tax returns for clients.
• Tax experience within a public accounting firm highly desired.
• EA or CPA certification a plus, but not required.

What will my schedule look like?

This firm is open to a full time, contract, or seasonal for February-April 2024 hire. Full time hires will work a schedule that reflects the tax season deadlines February-April with reduced and flexible hours the remainder of the year. This role can support a fully onsite or hybrid work schedule. Open to remote talent with the right experience and background.
