Tax Assist 911 Corp is a boutique tax firm. We assist clients in sales tax audits and defend before the NY Department of Labor and NY Worker's Compensation Board. The firm negotiates with state & federal taxing authorities. We also litigate in the U.S. Tax Court. Our accounting department offers tax preparation services for individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships, including preparation and filing of delinquent tax returns. We provide a full range of payroll & sales tax services as well as bookkeeping.
```Duties```
- Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to determine tax liability
- Utilize accounting software and tools to analyze financial data and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering client inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filing
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for tax preparation
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to professional ethics standards
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to manage financial data
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and tax laws
- Excellent analytical skills to accurately analyze financial records and identify tax deductions or credits
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tax calculations and filings
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in public accounting or working with multiple clients is a plus
