Form of workJob Responsibilities:
- Prepare small business S Corporation and C Corporation tax returns.
- Prepare Individual tax returns.
- Work to create and maintain income tax projections.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Process 1099's.
- Support financial management by providing timely and accurate financial information.
- Be an energetic team member who strives to provide the highest quality of work in a timely manner.
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in the accounting industry.
- Experience preparing S Corporation and C Corporation returns for small businesses.
- Experience in preparation of Individual tax returns.
- QuickBooks experience.
- Experience with account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Ability to multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Experience with commercial tax preparation software such as Creative Solutions Accounting or Ultra Tax a plus.
