Tax Consulting
Job Summary
Prepares federal, state, or local tax returns for individuals, business establishments, or other organizations, Call prospective taxpayers to generate new clients.
General Accountabilities
Examines accounts and records and computes taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations.
Completes forms for tax refunds. Call leads and make sales.
Advises management regarding the effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability.
Ensures that the organization complies with taxing authority requirements.
Represents organization before taxing associations.
Organizes and maintains tax records and conducts tax studies and special projects.
Provides tax advice.

Job Qualifications
Education: Associate or Bachelor Degree in Business, accounting, or a related field
Experience: Appropriate certifications, active PTIN, Tax Preparer Certification with 1-2 of related experience.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication mathematics, and critical thinking. Ability to contact tax clients to make sales, problem-solving service orientation, active listening, and Customer Service.
