At LifeCycle Tax Advisors, we’re looking for a talented Tax Preparer to work in tandem with our accounting and tax departments. In this role, the Tax Preparer will help design and implement tax policies and strategies and evaluate managerial processes to ensure compliance with relevant statutes and regulatory codes. The role also requires tax planning and reporting, including the filing of individual and corporate tax returns. The ideal candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex tax-related issues. We are looking for a personable candidate who can relate to clients as well as complete tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
o Work with our team of tax advisors for tax preparation and tax planning
o Accurately preparing and filing federal and state tax returns in a timely manner
o Reviewing tax returns
- Prepare, process, and maintain paperwork related to all aspects of the accounting cycle, culminating in the preparation and filing of tax returns
o Identifying tax problems and developing solutions
- Ensure that individual and corporate tax-return preparation meets all regulatory requirements
- Developing tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant and tax-efficient
- Advising clients on tax planning, tax research, and tax compliance
o Assist in developing business and investment strategies for an optimized tax return
o Review operations and procedures to ensure compliance with local statutes and regulations
o Suggest new policies and procedures for improving the collection of tax information from relevant department managers
o Completing responses and schedules in preparation of IRS representation cases
o Maintain written and oral communications between the company and all relevant vendors and regulatory agencies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
