Tax Manager.

Spherion is currently recruiting for a Direct Hire Tax Manager to work for our client in Rhinelander, WI. This individual will lead and manage multiple tax and accounting engagements to deliver quality tax services for their clients. Responsibilities:

• Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, real estate, and exempt organizations
• Handle federal, state, and local tax audits
• Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, and other documents for submission to the IRS or other taxing authorities
• Train and supervise staff, review, and evaluate their work

Qualifications:

• CPA license
• 9+ years prior experience in public accounting
• Significant supervisory experience (2+ years)
• Research proficiency
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
