Tax Director Or Senior Manager

Essential Functions:

• Perform technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in discipline or industry.
• Demonstrate excellence in the most advanced technical skills.
• Oversee client service tasks, ensuring assignments are completed within budgeted time.
• Assume full responsibility for larger tax returns and delegate to various tax preparers as necessary.
• Delegate and manage tax research projects for an accurate and efficient product.
• Actively participate in client meetings and tax planning efforts to assist the A&A Department with larger clients.
• Act as a resource for tax preparers/specialists and A&A staff on specific tax issues and/or questions.
• Assume tax preparation responsibility for more complex business returns.
• Assume client service responsibility for clients the Tax Senior Manager works directly with or those delegated from the Partner.
• Communicate important tax and tax developments affecting the firm's clients to appropriate personnel.
