Tax Associate

We have an exciting opportunity for an young tax professional to join our growing and dynamic team! Lanphier LLP is a boutique CPA firm in Denver serving a global base of small to mid-sized clients with complex tax and accounting needs. Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of tax returns, including S Corps (1120-S), C Corps (1120), Partnerships (1065), and Individuals (1040).
• Accounting and bookkeeping support for a diverse base of clients, including data entry, reconciliations, account clean up, allocations and adjustments, etc.
• Tax research and analysis on varied topics under partner/manager direction.
• Tax planning, projections, and strategy for business and individual clients.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Masters in Tax a plus!
• CPA Exam eligible (or working towards) preferred
• 0-2 years of experience
• Independent, self-motivated, ability to keep on task without direct oversight
• Excellent time management skills
• Open to instruction and constructive criticism
• Professionalism; Good written and oral communication skills
• Dependable team player
