Flexibility in Accounting - Hone your skills while training within our high firm standards providing top efficiency and top-quality services. Your initial training period will be in the office, where you will learn our systems, processes that set us apart, making us different from your standard accounting firms. This position is starting at 20 hours per week, up to 40 hours depending on our firm's demands and employee needs.
After the completion of the training period you will have the flexibility to work from home or from any of our many offices throughout the local Twin Cities area. We request that the employee be present a minimum of 1 day per month. We value work/life balance, a flexible compensation structure within our flexible trusting culture. -Hands-on & classroom-style training in the accounting industry/business of public accounting.
-Small business solutions providing consistent, quality, and efficient accounting services.
-Develop a deep understanding of rules, processes, and solutions in payrolls.
-Development of approachable soft skills used in business development, marketing, and networking.
-Training period will be within normal business hours - more flexibility after training period has been completed.
***Note - Actual hours worked are flexible. Candidates working from home are required to have their own internet service and telephone service provider. ***
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of tax returns for various business-types and individuals
???Assist in bookkeeping service
???Assist in payroll service
???Attend and participate in client meetings
???Networking
???Continuous improvement plan and practices
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
-Three years or more of experience in accounting, including some in tax
-CPA or ability to sit for CPA exam
Education:
Associate
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
?Business and or Accounting Tax: 1 year
?Experience in Excel, Google, and Adobe and basic troubleshooting
?Motivated and capable of learning
?Enthusiastic, professional, friendly demeanor
