Form of work Job Title - Tax Accountant
Location - Doral, FL 33178 OR Remote (The role is remote but will have to travel onsite twice a month)
Duration - 06 months (Extension or Conversion based on Performance)
Pay Rate - $25/hr. on W2 without any benefits.
Description:
Performs accounting tasks associated with the maintenance and preparation of tax records and tax returns.
Job Duties:
Assists in preparing federal, state, or local tax returns and related statements or records.
Maintains records of tax filings or payments.
Recommends financial actions that may lessen the organization's tax liability while meeting organizational goals and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.
Researches and suggests responses to changes in tax law, regulations, and guidelines. Assists with audit defense as needed.
Experience:
Performs work under general supervision.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate groups.
Education:
Requires a Bachelor's degree, and 2 to 4 years of experience..
