DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with tax consultants,
- Maintain tax calendar for all filing responsibilities to ensure timely filing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state/local, federal, and international tax laws and regulations.
- Research and respond to state/local, federal, and international tax authorities to resolve tax issues.
- Develop and maintain audit trail and data reporting integrity for all tax needs.
- Monitor tax law changes and business activity.
- Participate in development and implementation of tax strategy.
- Complete monthly compliance reports and reconciliations.
- Maintain tax depreciation for fixed assets.
- Assist with general tax accounting.
- Coordinate all income and franchise tax processes including but not limited to compliance, research, and planning.
- Prepare current and deferred tax analyses for the year-end tax provision.
- Reconcile sales and property tax accounts.
- Assist with resolution of income tax audits.
- Coordinate implementation of tax accounting systems and control procedures.
- Review and analyze the organization's tax accounting operation; recommend improvements.
- Assist with related special projects as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent
- 3-5 years related experience or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite with strong Excel abilities
- Strong accounting skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of tax laws.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.

The base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually. Several factors are used to determine the base pay within the posted range including experience, skill set and location/labor market.
