- All Applicants
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have TWIC
- Must not have had more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Maximum of 3 convictions in the last 36 months for moving violations (moving violation from a roadside inspection may be considered a conviction of a moving violation)
- No more than 1 Major at-fault accident and no more than 2 Minor at-fault accidents in the last 3 years. A Minor vehicular accident is defined as a vehicular accident involving a fixed object with no bodily injury. All other at-fault accidents are considered Major.
- No record of any conviction for vehicular homicide, negligent inuring, or vehicular involuntary manslaughter during the most recent 5 years
- No record of any conviction for driving under the influence (DUI or DWI) or reckless operation in the last 3 years or violating any out of service order or leaving the scene of an accident or refusing to submit to alcohol test
- No felony convictions for any criminal conduct or activity involving physical violence or the threat of physical violence, drug related criminal conduct or activity, or sexual criminal conduct or activity within the last 5 years, or released from criminal confinement or prison relating to any such criminal conduct or activity within the last 5 years, or wanted under any criminal felony indictment.
- Must pass all applicable FMCSR drug tests
- Must pass DOT physical required by license class
