Position SUMMARY:
The Talent Sourcer will have the primary responsibility to attract and engage both passive and active candidates for positions at Health First.
This position plays a crucial role in the recruitment process by using a mix of creative and proven methods to proactively and reactively identify talent that will favorably position Health First to the passive community to gain contact information as well as potential awareness.
The Talent Sourcer will work with physical and digital (online) tools to support the building of talent pools by acuities and will support in driving awareness and potential interest.
Primary Accountabilities
1. Collaborate with recruitment team and hiring managers to build pipelines that target the talent demands for the organization.
2. Engage with prospective candidates to provide information about the company, specific positions, talent process and ultimately create a positive initial experience.
3. Must be able to continually research industry trends, salary benchmarks, supply/demands for skill sets, sourcing tools, Boolean search techniques and technology to understand specific actions to achieve maximum outcomes.
4. Ability to build and cultivate candidate communities with specific skill sets, specific locations, and certain licenses to communicate current and future vacancy needs.
5. Maintain high levels of data integrity by ensuring candidate records are accurate, activities and results are well documented in personal tracker, as well as, in identified systems of record.
6. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs).
7. Working with internet tools to discover talent contact information and continuing to seek additional learnings to identify additional ways to gather necessary information to support talent engagement.
8. Monitor the performance of job postings both internally and externally to adjust as needed.
9. Must have strong communication skills such as crafting emails and effective time management skills to juggle varying priorities.
Attend hiring events hosted by Health First and/or by community partners to actively engage interested individuals.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Associates Degree or High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years talent acquisition experience
• License: None
• Certification: None
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years experience without an Associates Degree.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and time management to perform multiple tasks with varying priorities.
• Ability to effectively communicate with associates and hiring managers alike by listening, understanding, and conveying guidance using written and verbal communication skills.
• Provide a positive experience through responsiveness, professionalism, and empathy.
• Ability to travel to office locations and offsite locations for specific events as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Associate's Degree and 5 years of talent acquisition experience
• Licensure: None
• Certification: None
• Work Experience: 6+ months
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Experience with PowerBI or any other data analytics tool
• Understanding of HR principles, practices and policies including knowledge of talent management, career development, employee relations and workforce planning.
• Experience sourcing with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, x-ray, Boolean and social media
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, stooping.
• Extended periods of computer time or at workstation
• Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
• May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise.
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks.
• Workspace may vary from open to confined; on site or remote.
• May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle.
