Role Summary: 

Quantum Signal AI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Manager to join our People Operations team. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing, assessing, and growing our multi-disciplinary teams. Collaborating closely with our management team, you'll support solution-focused engineering teams to deliver value, foster diverse perspectives, and create inclusive working environments. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to various projects and initiatives, ensuring an engaged and productive team. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to cultivating a culture of excellence. As a key player in our People Operations team, you'll excel if you find joy in building and supporting engaging employee experiences.

Location:

We are located in Saline, Michigan. This position is in-person to encourage a culture of collaboration and mentorship.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Partner with management to design, execute, and promote programs and initiatives that contribute to the organizational development such as performance management, talent reviews, and talent assessments
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs to drive engagement, retention, and improve the employee experience
  • Define talent program success metrics, evaluate and document results, and ensure consistent application across the organization
  • Conduct employee check-ins: 30 & 90-day onboarding with recent hires, quarterly with group managers, and annually with all team members
  • Improve manager and team member performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating, and implementing solutions, and coaching
  • Maintain job descriptions and job analysis questionnaires 
  • Manage learning and development guidelines and promote program
  • Envision and execute events or activities to promote engagement
  • Develop and maintain a compensation and benefits strategy and policy
  • Review and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Work with our HR Compliance and Talent Acquisition team members 

What You’ll Bring:  

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Human Resources or any other related discipline
  • Knowledge and experience across all aspects of HR including performance management, employee engagement, employee coaching/counseling, compensation planning, learning and development, organization development, and recruitment
  • Experience delivering HR process improvements and/or change management efforts, preferably in a leadership role
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related HR role 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state employment regulations
  • Experience using JazzHR applicant tracking software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret metrics to develop strategies and influence change
