This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center- Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum.

As the Assistant Manager of the Digital Performance Team, you will play a critical role in strategy, coordination, and execution of digital support to our network of Dealers and support team. In this role you will focus on enhancing the digital presence and strategy of our Dealer network and ensuring that our Dealers receive exceptional support for their online operations. This will require serving as a key liaison between website providers, brand, field, agency partners and other key stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity for training, partnership and execution of key goals and deliverables.

This position requires a strategic mindset, management, and an understanding of digital marketing, platforms, and customer service, as well as a drive for performance.

  • Manage daily team operational activities including overall program management, case escalations, process management/improvement opportunities/training opportunities.
  • Manage Digital Performance Team facing business communications including Dealer Digital Solution (DDS,) Dealer Website of Choice (DWC), D2C2, etc.
  • Act as a key liaison and collaboratively work with brand and field stakeholders to align team goals, objectives and priorities to support brand retail Go-To-Market and operational initiatives.
  • Work with key stakeholders to execute various business initiatives and requests (tasks, audits, etc.)
  • Work closely with DPT Leadership team to:
    • Relay and execute business priorities
    • Develop operational processes
    • Define & execute team performance metrics
    • Manage roles, responsibilities, expectations, and team workload
    • Develop overall program and team reporting for key stakeholders
    • Maintain team tools & resources (training documents, reporting, CRM processes, etc.)
    • Sustain and continue development of internal CRM tools and technology to enable support team performance
  • Oversee development, strategy and execution of training curriculum, ensuring alignment with business priorities and team roles & responsibilities. Help to manage and prioritize external stakeholder team training requests.
  • Maintain strong, working relationships with Tier 3 website partners to develop collaborative processes between our support teams for website creative/content requests, escalations, troubleshooting, and communication management between brands, website partners, vendor support teams, Dealer Digital Performance Team, and Dealer network.
  • Strategize and collaborate across Digital Performance Team, Dealer Website Choice and Dealer Digital Solution teams to determine synergies, including training opportunities, communications, and cross collaboration
  • Coordinate with Digital Retail Platform/CarBravo, CCA and other teams to ensure partnership, alignment and to ensure goals and objectives are communicated to Digital Performance Team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in project management, program management, or related roles in the automotive or digital marketing industry.
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Team player who can successfully collaborate cross-functionally to drive results.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and focused on quality control and execution efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Dealer Digital landscape and OEM programs.
  • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and Dealers.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, success metrics, and customer support processes.
  • Experience with vendor relationship management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to confidently champion innovative ideas and approaches.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to move projects forward at a quick pace.
  • Ability to identify issues/opportunities and develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments utilizing highly efficient time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Leadership/Team spirit/Collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to seamlessly work across functional and organizational boundaries with a reputation for influencing an earning trust across levelled and organizations
