Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of new caregivers.
- Execute recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality caregivers who meet the projected needs of the company.
- Conduct and document reference checks including work history, compensation information and manager feedback.
- Work in partnership with the Scheduling Department to coordinate Caregiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and extraordinary relationships.
- Hold orientations 1-2 times per week in the office for newly hired caregivers.
- Attend career fairs as needed and explore new frontiers to maximize recruitment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Education:
- Tech savvy, comfortable with heavy email/phones, Microsoft Office and Google products
- Ability to attend career fairs as needed in the state of CT.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A desire to build relationships with current and potential Caregivers.
- Comfortable selling the caregiver position to candidates.
Preferred Skills/Education:
- Experience in a recruitment type position.
- Experience with the use of applicant tracking software and HR databases.
- Experience in the homecare or healthcare industry.
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
