The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and recommending candidates for various roles within our organization. This position will develop and execute recruitment strategies to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent. Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to promote our organization’s value proposition and ensure a positive new hire experience.This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, sourcing strategies, and determine candidate selection criteria
- Create and post job ads and develop interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
- Source potential candidates through online channels and foster good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants
- Conduct thorough phone interviews with candidates, document interview notes in the Applicant Tracking System, and recommend qualified candidates
- Manage hiring process and maintain recruiting reports in the Applicant Tracking System
- Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts
- Serve as company ambassador at various recruiting events (i.e., in-person and virtual job fairs), providing company/job information, and interview candidates
- Represent our company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
- Research Talent Acquisition trends and recommend new sourcing methodologies for recruiting active and passive candidates

Education / Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
- Experience recruiting for Skilled Tradespeople preferred
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
