Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Talent Acquisition Recruiterfor our heavy-truck dealership group! This position is responsible for all company full cycle recruiting and will be preparing, sourcing, strategizing, screening, and collaborating with hiring managers to meet company staffing needs. The ideal candidate will specialize in recruitment strategies to attract skilled diesel technicians, as well as other positions needed. This position is based in-house and not preformed remotely.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Recruiting for current and future company hiring needs
• Liaising with company leadership to determine recruitment needs and provide routine progress updates
• Sourcing potential candidates through an applicant tracking system, company career site, job boards and forums, social platforms, as well as print media, posters, and flyers, when required
• Assessing applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions, as well as facilitating pre-hire position fitness assessments
• Conducting screening interviews via phone or virtual calls
• Keeping proper documentation of potential candidate correspondents during the interview and hiring process
• Fostering excellent relationships with potential candidates and past applicants
• Developing data-driven hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends, as well as keeping informed of advancements in the field
• Other duties or assignments as assigned

Qualifications

• Specializing in recruitment strategies to attract skilled diesel technicians and other positions required
• 3 years experience with recruitment processes and databases
• Strong communication, computer, and interview skills
• Highly organized
• Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Dependable and reliable
