GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Are you some that enjoys working with and developing a team of experienced Talent Acquisition (TA) professionals? Working as a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead the strategic and operational direction of the TA group for North America. If you see yourself being instrumental in building relationships with internal managers, collaborating with external resources, and ensuring current and future TA approaches that are well aligned to support the workforce and talent needs of the organization, then you should apply. Reporting to the HR Director, this position will lead the strategy for sourcing, identifying and hiring the best talent for direct and indirect labor in Manitou Group across North America.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the team and strategy responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process for Manitou Equipment America and Manitou North America.
  • Collaborate with team, HR colleagues and hiring leaders to implement a clearly defined Talent Acquisition strategy for each client through understanding the client's business, financial goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Plan, implement and optimize cost-effective, efficient recruiting and sourcing strategies and tools to identify talent needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers by developing and clearly communicating recommendations based on knowledge of the markets, candidates and talent strategies.
  • Cultivate a network of relationships inside and outside the organization and work within the community to help promote opportunities out to their networks.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development group to implement a defined talent succession plan and roadmap.
  • Stay current in Talent Acquisition developments to increase performance and drive business results.
  • Create, maintain and present a Talent Acquisition dashboard to communicate metrics and results for the organization.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 5+ years' demonstrated expertise in recruitment best practices, client relationships, and talent sourcing in a professional services environment, including previous leadership or coaching experience.
  • Experience developing, implementing and executing Talent Acquisition and sourcing strategies including employer branding.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in managing and leading a Talent Acquisition team.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

EXPERTISE:
  • Knowledge of third party temporary, contract and direct working agreements and negotiations desired.
  • We are a google suite organization, knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Sites and Slides preferred.
  • Expertise in implementing and leveraging Talent Acquisition technology platforms including ATS, HRIS and other TA tools.
  • Exceptional leadership skills through coaching, delegation and professional development of team members.
  • Ability to work with a variety of teams and leaders, proving your ability to be flexible and highly adaptable.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business Administration or like field of study.
  • Additional certifications in Leadership training and/or PHR/SPHR preferred.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:
  • Internal customers: HR, TA team, hiring managers, leadership team and stakeholders.
  • External customers: Vendors, educational and community leaders.

LOCALIZATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:
  • This position is located in West Bend, WI.
  • Travel up to 10% for domestic and international travel may be required.
